Frequently asked Questions
What do I need to do before a detail?
We like to make your experience as easy as possible, so we bring all equipment to you. That includes: water, power, and disposal of cleaning products. All you need to do is remove any valuables from your car that you do not want moved or thrown away. We make sure to not throw away any valuables in the process.
We also ask that you leave your car unlocked so our technician can access the vehicle.
How long can I expect my detailing to take?
The services you select will dictate the time needed to complete your mobile detailing, but our services typically take 2 to 5 hours, depending on the size of the vehicle. Service upgrades will add additional time to the detail.
- 3 hours for motorcycles
- 1 – 4 hours for cars
- 1 – 5 hours for trucks and SUVs
- 2 – 4 hours for boats
- 2 – 4 hours for RVs

What is ceramic coating and do I need it?
DDM services utilizes Gtechniq’s Crystal Serum Light and Crystal Serum Ultra products to provide you with a professional and durable ceramic layer. Ceramic coating your vehicle provides high quality and long-lasting paint protection that will leave your car with the ultimate protective shine.
Our Exterior Detail Package includes a 6 – month sealant, but we offer multiple packages ranging from 3 to 9 years that will keep your paint looking its best for a longer period of time. We recommend adding on a ceramic service to help protect your paint and avoid major paint corrections in the future.
Keep in mind, that in order to ceramic coat your vehicle, DDM services will need to inspect your vehicle to see what level of paint correction must be done to ensure a smooth and even surface prior to coating.
How long do ceramic coating services take?
Ceramic packages take 24-48 hours to fully cure, so your vehicle will need to be dropped off to DDM Services.
Can I have my boat or jet ski ceramic coated?
Yes! In addition to automotive ceramic coating that includes, cars, trucks, SUVs, and motorcycles, we also offer marine ceramic coating (including boats and jet skis).
What happens in the event of rain and inclement weather?
Weather forecasts are checked before scheduling to ensure that your detail can be completed. However, we understand that Florida’s weather can be a little unpredictable at times. In order to safely and effectively detail your vehicle or marine craft, we will reschedule appointments if weather is un-permitting or if we feel the detail cannot be concluded in its entirety and in a safe manor. In case of bad weather, DDM will contact you no later than the morning of your scheduled appointment to go over re-scheduling options available to you. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your flexibility!
